Taking a look at the New York Rangers projected lineups for their upcoming game against the Ottawa Senators tonight on home ice at Madison Square Garden for 7:00PM.
Tonight should be an interesting matchup as this is the first time the New York Rangers and Ottawa Senators will be facing off for the 2024-25 season.
However, Rangers reporter Vince Z. Mercogliano has released the projected lineups from the New York Rangers practice that took place on Thursday:
#NYR practice lineup:
Kreider - Zib - Smith Panarin - Trocheck - Laf Cuylle - Chytil - Kakko Edstrom - Carrick - Rempe
Miller - Fox Lindgren - Trouba Schneider - Mancini
Looks like Brodzinski and Jones are the extras.
Along with that Mercogliano mention that Brodzinski and Rempe were rotating throughout the whole practice, not knowing who would actually be in for tonight game:
Something to monitor here: Rempe has taken the first shift with the fourth line in pretty much every drill I've seen, which usually indicates who will play in the next game. But he's also rotated with Brodzinski in each drill. #NYR>
With that being, Rangers report Larry Brooks then later confirmed that Brodzinski would be in fact be in the lineup, leaving Rempe as a healthy scratch.
Appears as if Brodzinski is in tonight v Senators.
At the moment there has not been any updates as to who will get the start between Shesterkin or Quick.
This could very well be the New York Rangers lineups for tonight's game against the Ottawa Senators. However, this is just a projection, and things could change before tonight's game.
