Taking a look at the New York Rangers projected lineups against the greatest team in the NHL, the Winnipeg Jets.
Tonight will be an epic battle between the two teams as this will be the first time the Rangers and Jets will face each Square at Madison Square Garden for the 2024-25 season.
Along with that the Ranger will be hosting a Military Appreciation Night that will feature an in-arena promotion such as the recognition of military members and a national anthem featuring a member of the United States Air Force.
However, Rangers reporter Vince Z. Mercogliano has released the projected lineups from the New York Rangers practice that took place on Monday, stating everyting still looks the same for todays practice:
Forward lines are unchanged, as well:
Panarin - Zib - Laf
Kreider - Trocheck - Smith
Cuylle - Chytil - Kakko
Edström - Carrick - Vesey
#NYR looks like they'll keep everything the same heading into tomorrow's big matchup with Winnipeg, assuming Lindgren plays.
D pairs to start practice are:
Mancini - Fox
Miller - Trouba
Jones - Schneider
Looks like no changes, with Mancini placeholding for Lindgren #NYR
After the Rangers practice head coach Peter Laviolette issues a statement and confirmed that rookie defenseman Victor Mancini will be scratched and Jones will fill in. Along with confirming
Igor Shesterkin will get the start tonight:
It's important to note that Vince Z. Mercogliano stated «assuming Lindgren plays» as the 26-year old defenseman was absent from the Rangers practice due to Maintenance:
Overall it should be a very interesting matchup, and hopefully the New York Rangers can pull off another victory and better their current 9-3-1 record, along with handing the Jets(14-1-0) their second loss this season.
