New York Rangers Organization Directs A Special Announcement Towards 6-Foot-7 Forward Adam Edstrom

Early on Sunday morning, the New York Rangers made an announcement celebrating one special forward, Adam Edstrom as today is his birthday.

Today is the 6-foot-7 giant Adam Edstrom's birthday, which means the New York Rangers took to social media to make a special post wishing him a happy birthday as the star was born on October 12th, 2000.

Edstrom was originally drafted by the New York Rangers in the sixth round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft with the 161st overall pick, and has since only spent parts of the last three seasons with the organization.

The 25-year old forward has been a part of the New York Rangers success over the last few years. However, he has only played in 65 games with the organization since being drafted, where he has managed to tally 7 goal, 6 assists, for a total of 13 points.

Just last season, Edstrom reached a career high in points as he tallied five goals and four assists for a total of 9 points, while playing 51 games.

Certainly not the best numbers considering the teams performance, but hopefully the youngster can start to turn things around this year as many have high expectations for the Rangers fourth-line.

This just might the season it all changes for Adam as he already has two points through the New York Rangers first three games this season, and has a very good chance of getting another one on Sunday as the Rangers will face off against the Washington Capitals at 7:00PM.
