New York Rangers forward Adam Edstrom has been given a major opportunity with the organization after he just recently signed a two-year contract extension.

According to reports, Adam Edstrom holds immense value for the New York Rangers organization. Especially as his 6-foot-8 frame make him a very intimidating physical threat to all the other National Hockey League organizations.
The 24-year old truly became a consistent player in the New York Rangers lineup this past season, and quickly became a staple on the team's fourth line by striking fear into his opponents. Something he didn't do much of during his first year with the team as he only played 11 games.
Unfortunately, Edstrom's breakout season was cut short when he sustained a lower-body injury back on February 1st, an injury that required surgery and kept him sidelined for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
In 51 games, Edström recorded five goals, four assists, and nine points while averaging 9:16 minutes.

A statement that solidifies Adam Edstrom to be an everyday kind of player for the New York Rangers next season, as his impressive speed and ability to play both ends of the ice could even land him on the Rangers third line if his play stays consistent.
Now, Adam Edstrom has a chance to build on his impressive play and further establish himself with the New York Rangers organization.
