New York Rangers defenseman unveils serious injury he played through
Full details emerge regarding New York Rangers defenseman's re-aggravated injury during Stanley Cup Playoffs
Rangers defenseman, Adam Fox unveils full details regarding his injury. Fox finally made a return with the Rangers after sustaining an injury earlier in the season, but was sidelined once again after a knee-on-knee hit with Capitals defenseman Nick Jensen in the first round of the 2024 Stanley Cup playoffs re-aggravated the injury.
The re-aggravated injury caused a mild MCL strain, unfortunately this left Fox off the ice for a few days between the Rangers first and second-round series as team labeled it as «maintenance» purposes.
According to a source, he got lucky as there wasn't a tear. But however, many fans realized that the 26-year old defenseman was still not a 100% for the majority of the Rangers playoff run.
Adam fox had an outstanding season with finishing the regular season with 73 points (17 goals, 56 assist) but then was limited to only 8 assists throughout the 16 postseason games.
