New York Rangers among several Original-6 Franchise's making drastic changes to their iconic logos

The New York Rangers organization have recently unveiled a new logo for their Centennial Year logo that they will feature throughout the 2025-26 season. Along with several other organizations such as the Chicago Blackhawks and the Detroit Red Wings.
The Rangers new logo combines several different elements from the team's first 100 years in the National Hockey League, including the outline of the shield used in their original logo in 1926.
Along with returning to the dark royal blue from 1948 to 1976, and featuring the «100» within the crest in the classic red font and white outline that has been all Rangers uniforms.
Inside the logo is the current shield of the franchise's logo with typography and a shade of blue from the original 1926 shield.
New York Rangers GM Chris Drury spoke out on the organization reaching it's centennial season, and how much it means to be representing the Blueshirts:
«The New York Rangers are one of the premier franchises, not just in the National Hockey League, but in all of professional sports,» Rangers president and general manager Chris Drury said.
«Growing up as a Rangers fan - and then having the privilege of playing for the team and working in the front office - I've experienced how special it is to wear that iconic jersey and why it means more to have the honor of being associated with the Rangers crest.
As we approach our Centennial year, we are proud and excited about the opportunity to honor our legacy with our fans.»

Over the next few months, the Rangers will likely announce additional celebratory events that will be held throughout their 100th season.
Maybe they will announce that the Rangers will have completely new uniforms for the season, like the Boston Bruins did for their centennial season.
MSG Sports COO Jamaal Lesane, also had a few words for the unveiling of the New York Rangers centennial jerseys.

Blackhawks and Red Wings announce changes coming in the 2025-26 season
As stated before the Chicago Blackhawks and the Detroit Red Wings will also be entering their centennial season and are expected to make some changes to their logos as well. However, they still haven't released their new look but drop some hints that a change is happening.
On social media, mainly X, the Red Wings shared a video of their organizations greatest memories over the last 100-years, along with a new profile picture that states "Please Stand By", indicating a change is coming:
The Blackhawks have only shared their centennial video and have yet to make any announcements of a change happening, so we will have to wait and see what they decide to do:
