Mike Sullivan Credits The New York Rangers Ability To Push Through Adversity Early In The 2025-26 Season

Head coach Mike Sullivan has just recently spoke out the New York Rangers ability to face and overcome adversity early in the 2025-26 season.
Following the New York Rangers hard fought comeback 4-3 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, head coach Mike Sullivan spoke to the media and shared his honest thoughts on the game and even gave his opinion on the teams ability to push through adversity.
After seven games this season the New York Rangers are currently 3-3-1 with all three loses coming from their games on home ice, where they even created NHL history as they managed to get shutout during those three home games.
Along with that, on Saturday night the Montreal Canadiens took a very early 2-0 lead, but the New York Rangers continued to push through and secured a 4-3 victory. Resulting in Mike Sullivan to speak out on the teams effort.
Here's what Sullivan had to say according to Mollie Walker of the New York Post:
«I thought it was a real gutsy effort by the guys. When you go through some of the early adversity that we've gone through here, I said to them after the game, 'That game could've gone south fast.' We get down two early like that, given the circumstances that we've gone through the last week or so, I just give the players a lot of credit. You learn about your group when you go through experiences like this. What we learned is that we've got a high character group in there. There's a certain resilience to them that I think is admirable and necessary to win in this league. Couldn't be more proud of them.»
Hopefully the Rangers cant keep this up and score a goal when they return to Madison Square Garden on Monday as they face off the against the Minnesota Wild at 7:00PM.
