The New York Rangers have managed to push through and put an end to their three-game losing streak after a full team effort helped them secure a 4-3 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night.
After a very rough start to the New York Rangers game against the Canadiens on Saturday night they managed to pull through as a team and secured a 4-3 victory.
However, with that being said defensive prospect Matthew Robertson was a big part of the teams success as he netted his first NHL goal, with 15 minutes remaining in the third period to give the Rangers the 3-2 lead.

Matthew Robertson Shares Emotions Behind Scoring First NHL Goal
Not long after the game, defensive prospect Matthew Robertson, who was drafted by the Rangers with the 49th overall pick of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, spoke out on how it felt to get his first NHL goal.
Here's what the 24-year old had to say:
"Surreal. I mean, it still hasn't really kicked in. I just shot the puck and it ended up going in. It's a roller coaster of emotions."
Truly something that all fans love to see, along with this Robertson's has came a very long way in his development and just may even earn himself a permanent spot on the Rangers roster as he's tallying more TOI than Urho Vaakanainen.
