Maple Leafs forward officially hits the market: Rangers to make an offer?
The Blueshirts have been struggling to find a linemate for winger Chris Kreider and center Mikka Zbanejad.
However, someone is hitting the market in July that may be the perfect fit for the two of them and will complement their playing styles.
It has been confirmed that Toronto Maple Leafs forward Tyler Bertuzzi will be testing the open market this summer.
As reports from Darren Dreger suggest Bertuzzi has priced himself out of Toronto as he is reportedly seeking a multi-year deal with an average annual value and salary cap hit of over $5 million per season.
Tyler is a gritty forward who loves to be in the thick of things. Bertuzzi is 29 years old and had 21 goals and 22 assists, tallying up to 43 points in 80 games this past season. In the playoffs, he posted four points in seven games.
Should the New York Rangers make a move for Tyler Bertuzzi now that Kane and Guentzel are officially off the market?
