Kakko Talks On Morning Skates Plus Starting Goalie Announced

The Rangers have five games left of the regular season, and looking to finish strong to clinch not only the best record in the East, but the whole league! Kaapo Kakko speaks at morning skate ahead of Rangers against the Canadiens:

"I think we've been good lately... five games left, big games before the playoffs, get ready for the biggest games of the year."

Igor Shesterkin has been confirmed to be the starting goaltender for tonight against the Canadiens.

The lineups from practice are confirmed as well. Jack Roslovic and Erik Gustafsson are healthy scratches tonight, and Matt Rempe is in.

The magic number for the Rangers to clinch the East and the President Trophy is seven.
