According to recent reports, New York Rangers newly acquired forward J.T. Miller turned down a massive trade offer before signing with the Rangers organization.
TVA Sports reporter Renaud Lavoie claimed on BPM Sports, that J.T. Miller was expected to be traded elsewhere before returning to the New York Rangers.
Lavoie revealed that J.T. Miller was expected to be traded from the Vancouver Canucks to the Colorado Avalanche after they traded Mikko Rantanen to the Carolina Hurricanes last month.
However, Miller simply said no as he didn't want to play in Denver, and was set on returning out East and was ultimately traded from the Canucks to the New York Rangers.

The Colorado Avalanche viewed Miller as a long-term solution to center their second line.
Thankfully Miller denied that trade considering he's been on fire with the New York Rangers since returning, as he has tallied 5 goals and 4 assists for a total of 9 points in just eight games. Along with providing others with some confidence, especially Mika Zibanejad as he is now producing points.
