Ex-Rangers defenseman K'Andre Miller reveals his true feelings on being traded from the Rangers
Former New York Rangers defenseman K'Andre Miller speaks out on being traded from the organization on Tuesday to the Carolina Hurricanes.
NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman confirmed the major announcement as the New York Rangers have traded defenseman K'Andre Miller to the Carolina Hurricanes. Along with the announcement, revealing how much he will make with the division rivals.
It appears that out of the 12-15 major NHL clubs, the Hurricanes and GM Eric Tulsky have won the Miller sweepstakes.
NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman announced the signing, as the former 1st-round pick will be earning $7.5 million AAV over the next eight years.
He'll be joining a contender, and playing under Head Coach Rod Brind'Amour, who has been a consistent leader in the NHL.

According to several reports the New York Rangers will receive a 1st Round Pick and
2nd Round Pick, along with defenseman
Scott Morrow, while the Hurricanes will get K'Andre Miller.
K'Andre Miller reveals his true feelings on being traded
Following the trade, K'Andre Miller joined a video call with several reporters and he revealed how he felt about being traded to the Hurricanes.
Here's what he had to say:
"It was definitely in the back of my head that something could happen, might happen. I loved my time in New York, it was great, but I'm excited for what's to come in Carolina."
