Oilers Forward heated after devastating loss to Canucks
The Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane allegedly engaged in fiery conversations with his teammates after a devastating loss against the Vancouver Canucks. The prime-time snoop tells us that Kane thought the team choked and gave up the lead sequentially falling to the Vancouver Canucks. Kane supposedly left the locker room early, visibly upset.
Fans think that the Edmonton Oiler's haven't been able to play keep away from their own net in a while and think that although Kane has a right to be upset, they question why he would wait until this game to do so. Other fans think that this is one of the reasons he isn't well liked in Vancouver despite being from there. Still others think that the Edmonton Oilers are the most overrated team in the NHL.
While I don't necessarily agree with fans, I do think Kane has a right to be upset, could they have done better? Probably but not to the point where he is having heated arguments with his teammates. It would be a great time to reflect inwardly and see if and where there are areas in which he can improve including communicating with his peers. I think that the Edmonton Oilers are not the best team but certainly are one of the stronger opponents in the NHL and credit should be given to how far they have come. The way you handle a loss also speaks volumes of you as a player and as a team. You win some, you lose some. Better Luck next time Edmonton.
