It was revealed yesterday that the Vancouver Canucks have removed the last trace of J.T. Miller from their arena as they have taken down his banners and photos around the arena.
Miller has been gone for several weeks after the New York Rangers and the Canucks made a deal to send former Rangers defenseman
Victor Mancini to the Canucks in exchange for JT Miller.
Turbulent year for Miller now over with Rangers playoff chase
Over the past season, the Canucks have been in turmoil due to an internal issue between
Elias Pettersson and JT Miller which prompted the trade from general manager Patrik Allvin and President Jim Rutherford.
Since the trade, Miller has settled back with the team that drafted him and had contributed well in the offensive side of the game until recently where a sudden drop in production has surfaced.
He has played 22 games for the Rangers, scoring nine goals and 12 assists for 21 points and as a +2 with 14 penalty minutes.
The Canucks, meanwhile, are three points out of a wild card as the Saint Louis Blues have been making it difficult with their recent winning streak of seven games and have gone 8-1-1 in their last 10.
Miller Looking to improve his play as playoff race tightens
Miller along with the rest of the Rangers are attempting to correct problems in their game especially third power play as they have only scored one goal in their last 12 games.
The Rangers are also looking to reduce their Penalties as they have been taking too many penalties over the past number of games.
The Rangers are currently on their western road trip and will face off against the Anaheim Ducks on March 28th at 10:00 PM Eastern.
