Roster Transaction: New York Rangers assign forward down to the AHL Hartford Wolf Pack
New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the organization has assigned forward down to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.
Just a few hours before the New York Rangers were set to face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight, The Rangers recalled 30-year old forward
Anton Blidh from the Wolf Pack, which created some concerns of another injury.
UPDATE: Anton Blidh has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Ultimately, Vince was correct but thankfully it was injury related it was revealed just moments before the game that forward Matt Rempe would be sidelined due to illness.
UPDATE: Matt Rempe (illness) will not play tonight.
New York Rangers assign forward Anton Blidh to the Hartford Wolf Pack
Following the New York Rangers dreadful 4-3 loss against the Maple Leafs in Thursday the organization made the announcement that forward Anton Blidh will return to the Wolf Pack as Matt Rempe returned to the Rangers practice this morning.
UPDATE: Anton Blidh has been assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Thankfully the youngster is feeling better and will hopefully be good to go for the Rangers next game on Saturday as they face off against the Vancouver Canucks at 1:00PM.
