The Rangers have conquered this nine-day gauntlet by winning five out of six. This unforgiving schedule left them bruised and battered, with the latest injury to defenseman Ryan Lindgren raising legitimate concerns about his status with the playoffs just over a month away.
K'Andre Miller has been red-hot with five points in his last two games. He might need to play more for the team if Lindgren will need to miss significant time, and Jacob Trouba still out due to injury.Miller addresses the media on the Rangers 4-1 week:
"We have a lot of guys that can step up... it's been fun."
The Rangers are six points ahead of the Hurricanes for first in the Metropolitan Division. The Hurricanes play tonight. Both will have 14 games left. They're one point behind the Bruins for first in the East. Boston has 13 games left. Florida also has 94 pts in 68 games, just like the Rangers.
