The Rangers have gone 17-4-1 since the all-star break to claw their way to the top of the Eastern Conference standings and fight for the President trophy. A massive reason why? Artemi Panarin.
A career high in goals, points, shots on goal, multi-point games and hat tricks, he more than makes his claim as the MVP of the season. Something that makes this season even more special for him, he is only one point away from hitting his first 100 point season of his career. Panarin is also one point away from becoming the fourth oldest player in NHL history to have their first 100-point season.
Clearly the Rangers would not be in the position they are at currently if not for Panarin. Let's hope this incredible season translate well into the playoffs.
