Rangers Adam Fox wins 3rd annual Rod Gilbert award

Rangers defenseman Adam Fox has had a phenomenal last few years being in a Rangers uniform with a Norris trophy and now the third annual Rod Gilbert award. He continues to hold the title of «Mr. Ranger» as the award honors rod's legacy by exemplifying leadership qualities both on and off the ice while making significant humanitarian contributions to his community.


Fox has been instrumental off the ice as much as he has been on the ice as he and along with other Rangers teammates hosted at junior Rangers hockey clinic that helped raise $20,000 towards tackle ALS and the Garden of Dreams foundation.

During his five seasons with the Rangers, fox has been a pivotal player as he holds three seasons over 70 points and a consistent plus minus. Through 355 games, he has scored 52 goals with 254 assists for 306 points and is a + 106 with 142 penalty minutes.



He is a key member of the Rangers power play with 131 power play points and has 23 minutes and four seconds of average ice time.
