New York Rangers Head Coach Mike Sullivan Visibly Annoyed Following Absurd Question

On the social media site "X", the account "Rangers Videos" posted a clip of an interview with Head Coach Mike Sullivan earlier today. During the media availability, you could tell one question visibly disturbed Coach Sullivan.
The New York Rangers' record this season is 3-4-1, and at home: 0-4-0. In a similar position to where they finished in 2025, at 5th in the Metropolitan Division.
A harrowing
beginning for a coach that has been sold to us as a better option than Peter Laviolette, who took the team to the Eastern Conference Finals and won a Presidents' Trophy.
Now, during a media availability after practice, Mike Sullivan took questions, and one question
visibly annoyed him.
The 0-4-0 coach, when the question was asked. Notice the question was a typical gotcha style question from reporters.
Mike Sullivan was asked how much the Rangers need a win at home:
"Well, we'd like to win. Of course we want to win. Do we want to be a harder team to play against at home? For sure. Is this the biggest game of the year? My answer has always been it is until the next one"
The New York Rangers Head Coach Mike Sullivan Needs to Improve at Home
Honestly, it's one of the downfalls of sports reporting is the typical "pucks deep" style of questioning that gives us a feedback loop that recurs in both players and coaches.
This one seems to lead the reporter to think he was smart by asking this, but in reality, it was a perfunctory question by a reporter who couldn't think creatively for Sullivan and the Rangers.
"It's the age-old question".
That's all there is to it.
Despite this, the team is still 0-4-0 at the moment until things change.
