Ex-Rangers Forward Reportedly On His Way Out Of The Metropolitan Division: Per Elliotte Friedman
With most of the major names during free agency have either been re-signed or have signed with a new organizations, but Jack Roslovic still remains to be unsigned after playing for the Carolina Hurricanes last season.
However, during Friedman's recent '32 Thoughts' Podcast', he stated that the Toronto Maple Leafs are one of "five or six" teams that are interested in acquiring Roslovic.

This past season, Roslovic managed to tally 22 goals, 17 assists, for a total of 29 points with the Carolina Hurricanes, and the season before he only managed to tally 8 points (3 G, 5 A) in 19 games played for the New York Rangers.

According to Elliotte Friedman, Jack Roslovic is trying to find the best situation for him despite being the best remaining UFA available. Which benefits him in a major way.
He's the best available player remaining. And, obviously, he hasn't found anything he 100% likes. But there are definitely a few teams poking around there. I've heard five or six teams. So, he needs to get to something he feels comfortable with.

Earlier in the summer, Roslovic was projected to receive a deal ranging around 3 years and for $10.5 million contract with an AAV (average annual value) of $3.5 million, and who knows the New York Rangers could even be one of those 'five or six teams' interested.
