Insulting the referees is certainly not the look you want to do when being a professional hockey player as this can turn around and bite you later.

This occurred when Peter Laviolette III the son of head coach Peter Laviolette showed poor judgment as he was being escorted off the ice.
The ECHL Wheeling Nailers were playing against the Utah Grizzlies when Laviolette was called for a high sticking double minor in which it appeared he protested so much that he was removed from the game for the first period.
This kind of behavior will not bode well for him as it appeared he had two other penalties throughout the game one in each.
Through 38 games this year, he has scored five goals with six assists for 11 points and is a + 6. But he has amassed 96 penalty minutes.
It's doubtful that he will see any action from the league however, I expect his father to have something to say when he reviews the video.
