Two New York Rangers Among 22 Players Placed On Waivers A Week Before Opening-Night Begins

The latest round of waivers has just been announced, which see's a total of 22 NHL players including two from the New York Rangers organization.
Earlier on Tuesday morning the New York Rangers announced that they have made another round of roster cuts, which seen them cut eight players from training camp. All eight players being sent to the AHL to join the Hartford Wolf Pack, including Brennan Othmann.
Boyko, Garand, Hillman, McConnell-Barker, Othmann, Roobroeck and Terrance will all be sent to Hartford today. Brisson and Mackey will be placed on waivers on 2pm with the intention of being assigned to Hartford, as well.
However, now on Tuesday, September 30t, the Rangers have placed a total of two players on waivers. Those two players being Connor Mackey and Brendan Brisson.

All Four New York Rangers Clear Waivers From Tuesday September 30th
According to NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman all players who were placed on waivers on Monday have cleared, including four from the New York Rangers.
