New York Rangers head coach Mike Sullivan issues a clear message on what he wants to see from the organization as they prepare to take on stronger teams.

Following the Rangers game on Sunday night Mike Sullivan made it clear on what want's to see from his players moving forward, as the Rangers practically did everything right besides scoring a goal during their 1-0 loss.
Throughout the entire game the Rangers applied a ton of pressure on the Washington Capitals. However, unfortunately Charlie Lindgren stood on his head as he tallied 35 saves to ensure a shutout.

Mike Sullivan Makes It Clear On What He Want's From The New York Rangers

Without a doubt the New York Rangers put up their best performance of the season during Sunday nights game, something Mike Sullivan would like to see from the team moving forward.
«I think this was the best game we played all year, the most complete game that we've played all year against a really good team,» Sullivan said. «I thought the guys played hard.»

Along with this Sullivan gave the team a very positive message, that they will need to carry with themselves as they are set to face off against stronger teams this upcoming week, starting with the Edmonton Oilers.
Here's what Sullivan had to say:
«I thought the team played extremely well, and that's what I said to the guys after the game,» Sullivan said. «For our coaching staff, we're most concerned about how we play, how we win, how we lose, and sometimes you can't control whether the puck was in the net or not. I thought from an effort standpoint, determination or attitude, this type of game is the kind of game that we're trying to build. If we continue to play with that kind of an effort and that kind of focus and attention to detail, I think we're going to win more games than we lose.»
Certainly can't argue with that, hopefully the Rangers will be able to keep that in mind as they faceoff against the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night at 7:00pm.
Then the Rangers will continue to faceoff against Canadian teams, as they will also play the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens this week.
