Rangers Head Coach Calls Out His Team Following Loss
For only the second time this season, the Rangers have dropped back-to-back games.
They're 8-7-1 in their last 16, with the ugly 6-3 loss to the Canucks last night, bringing the primary issue, team defense.
Head coach Peter Laviolette addresses the media on this:
"We made mental mistakes. We made line-change mistakes. We made turnover mistakes. I don't feel like we were in our end taking heat the entire night. The mistakes that we made, they were loud. I mean, they were really loud. It reminded me of the beginning of the year when we were making mistakes, and it's just too much for our goaltenders. We've got to be better than that."
Peter Laviolette also talks about the chances the Rangers allowed:
"We're not gonna win giving up five goals. You can't win, not on a regular basis."
Let's hope they can turn it around soon.
