Spitting Chiclets expose Red Wings fraudulent game

It seemed promising for the Detroit Red Wings this year as the team has been looking to getting out of the basement and back into the playoff picture after being out for several years.

But after a hot start, the walls have crashed down the league that the Red Wings are nothing more than a House of Cards.

This was discussed with the Spittin chiclets podcast as Ryan Whitney and Paul Bissonnette began chipping away at the Red Wings game exposing how weak they have become.

The team has gone 2-8-0 in their last 10 games, and are still in the final wild card spot with 76 points.

But it's becoming clear, that three to four teams are right behind them and if the team continues to falter like they have been this playoff spot will evaporate quickly.

One of the glaring issues with the team is the fact that they do not have a thirty-goal scorer amongst any of their forwards.

Lucas Raymond has 24 goals and is a - 19 but has 59 points.

Another issue with the team of course is their goaltending as Ville Husso has not turned out to be the starter they wanted as he holds a record of 9-5-2 with 3.55 goals against and a save percentage of .892

With Red Wings fans hoping for a change, it appears the team may not see the postseason once again and general manager Stevie Yzerman will need to go back to the drawing board and try to make the changes needed to get back into the playoffs.
