The New York Rangers organization issues a special announcement regarding star forward J.T. Miller

Today the New York Rangers made an announcement celebrating J.T. Miller as it's his birthday today.

Today is Miller's birthday, and he turns 32-years old and the New York Rangers made a special post on social media wishing him a happy birthday as the star was born on March 14th 1993.

J.T. Miller has been huge part of the New York Rangers success over the few months after he was re-acquired by the New York Rangers in a massive trade with the Vancouver Canucks.

Miller was originally drafted in the first round (15th overall) by the New York Rangers back in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, and spent the first six seasons with the Rangers before being moved to the Tampa Bay Lightning and then to the Canucks.

However, since re-joining the Rangers organization, Miller has made quite the impact as he tallied 7 goals and 10 assist for a total of 17 points in just 16 games. And a career total of 254 goals, 437 assists, for a grand total of 691 points in 855 NHL career games.

Hopefully the 32-year old can continue this momentum as the New York Rangers will face off against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday at 7:00pm, and desperately need a win as both teams are tied with 70 points and look to push closer to the wild card spot.
