As the Rangers play on in the Eastern Conference final, frank Seravalli of the dailyfaceoff.com feels the team will be losing Alex wennberg, Erik Gustafsson and Jack Roslovic two unrestricted free agency this summer.

It's always common knowledge that teams cannot always keep the players they traded for at the trade deadline as some were brought in for a specific reason to help them get over the hump or go on a long playoff run in hopes of lifting the Stanley Cup.

General manager Chris Drury will be busy this summer looking for ways to continue to hold this team together while improving it in other areas. Players like Wennberg are likely to be on the chopping block as his playoff performance has not been great. Through 12 games, he's only had one assist and has been a nonfactor on the roster as he was expected to help with secondary scoring.

Wingers like Jack Roslovic are always available, and teams will be looking at him and potentially sending an upgrade in his salary. Sarah valley has him projected at a three-year term at $3,000,000 per season.

Gustafsson, Is on the wrong side of 30 as he is currently 32 years old. This season he holds a cap hit of $825,000 but Seravalli feels that he may command the salary of 3.85 million per season with a three-year term pit the Rangers are likely to look for other defensemen who are younger and would give them longevity in the contract.

In the meantime, the Rangers are continuing their work on trying to get to the Stanley Cup finals and will have some money in the offseason as nineteen players are signed, and they have $10.5 million in cap space. It's safe to say some changes will be happening.
