Laviolette On Playoff Win Streak, Plus Schedule Start Times Revealed
The Rangers have had multiple lengthy win streaks during the regular season. They've now won five straight games to start the playoffs. The four game sweep over the Washington Capitals, and the Rangers winning Game 1 over the Carolina Hurricanes.
Head coach Peter Laviolette was asked if the feelings are the same when you win this many games in a row, despite it being the playoffs.
Barclay Goodrow was asked on how the Rangers will react once they lose their first game of the playoffs:
"All year, we've had the one game at a time mindset"
The Rangers are in peak form right now. Special teams is clicking all around, even strength scoring production has been blossoming, Igor Shesterkin has been sound in front of the net. What is there not to like?
As for the next several games of the series, the start time has been revealed for Game 2, 3 and 4. Both Game 2 on Tuesday at MSG and Game 3 on Thursday in Raleigh will begin at 7 p.m, and Game 4 will also be 7 p.m. on Saturday. ESPN has Game 2, TNT has Game 3 and 4
