Chris Kreider sends a clear message to fans 11 years later regarding major controversy during the 2014 Eastern Conference Finals with the Montreal Canadiens and star goaltender Carey Price.
Back in 2014 the New York Rangers faced off against the Montreal Canadiens in the Eastern Conference Finals, and unfortunately the game took a massive turn that left many fans of the Canadiens upset with Rangers forward Chris Kreider.
However, just this past weekend Chris Kreider acknowledged the incident that many believe to have ended Carey Price's career, a goaltender who went on to win the Hart Trophy and Veznia Trophy just a year after the incident happened.
As many already know, the incident involved Chris Kreider crashing into Carey Price as he was on a breakaway, after Canadiens defenseman Alexei Emelin slashed Kreider in the skate causing him to lose balance and trip.
Price was knocked out the Eastern Conference Final with a knee injury, and the New York Rangers eventually eliminated Montreal in six games before losing to the Los Angeles Kings in the Stanley Cup Final.

Over the weekend, Kreider acknowledged the incident as a fan approached him for an autograph of a photo that shows the moment before Kreider crashed into Price. However, Kreider signed it and added "CLEARLY TRIPPED!" as a way of officially addressing something that took place 11 years ago.
Clearly something many fans have not let go over the years as theirs still a bit of heat as the New York Rangers visit the Centre Bell Arena.
