Bedard called out for disrespectful antics at 2024 World Championship
Connor Bedard's antics during the 2024 IIHF World Championship seems to be making people upset.
Within just three games at the World Championship, Connor Bedard ranks second in the tournament with an impressive five goals and six points alongside a +4 differential. The way Bedard has been playing is truly impressive, but despite everything some people seem to have an issue with Bedard for not celebrating a goal.
15-year NHL professional Jakub Voracek, who believes, Bedard's lack of enthusiasm is disrespectful.
»I said I don't like it.and to celebrate goal is normal.non celebration is more disrespectful the celebrate it.he is a f**king player though»
It seems at this point, Connor Bedard can't win either way, he'll be bashed if he over celebrates or be called disrespectful if he doesn't, so one thing's for sure, if he wants to win he'll have to continue doing what he's doing.
Fortunately, not everyone sees it that way as Connor Bedard as proven he's one hell of a player whether he's playing for the NHL or Internationally.
