Tragic news strikes as 18-year old Russian hockey player sadly passes away
Very unfortunate news strikes the hockey world today as 18-year old Russian hockey player, Roman Zyryanov passes away.
Zyryanov has played three seasons with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod program from U16- U18. During his last season in 2020-23 he tallied one goal and four points in two games.
Unfortunately the devastating news doesn't end there as this is the second death of a player in the Torpedo system in less than a month. On May 15th, 14-year old Rulvan Bazhenov was found deceased after being hit by a train.
Many people battle with mental illness and it sadly claimed two more victims.
Many people battle with mental illness everyday, and sadly it has claimed two more victims. If you ever struggle with mental illness, please reach out and seek help.
