Two unexpected New York Rangers will be participating in the 2025 IIHF Men's World Championship

Recent reports confirm that two more New York Rangers star players will be stepping away from the organization this offseason to join their respective nations at the 2025 IIHF Men's World Championship.
Recently It was revealed that Mika Zibanejad was leaving the organization to join Team Sweden at the IIHF Men's World Championship.
Now, two more New York Rangers stars will be doing the same, according to reports Will Cuylle and Brett Berard are set to participate in the 2025 IIHF Men's World Championship.
Cuylle will play for Team Canada and Berard will play for Team USA.
Brett Berard will play for Team USA and Will Cuylle will play for Team Canada in World Championships.
Why both players are great choices for their Nations
During Will Cuylle's second season with the New York Rangers we seen a ton of improvements in his performance, as the 23-year old forward managed to tally 20 goals and 25 assist for a total of 45 points in 82 games, while averaging 15:05 minutes.
He also cemented himself a role on the team's penalty kill as well as the second power-play unit at times.
On the other hand, Brett Berard showed great promise during the Rangers training camp and eventually made his way to the Rangers roster, after beginning the season with the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.
Brett Berard didn't manage to play that many games this season, but he truly showed great promise throughout the season, something that will likely earn him a more permanent role with the team next season.
Throughout 35 games this season, Berard managed to tally six goals and four assists for a total of ten points, while averaging 10:43 minutes of ice time.
Both these young players now the opportunity to grow their game and develop their skills while representing their nations at the 2025 IIHF Men's World Championship.
