As the 2025-26 NHL quickly approaches, many teams are starting to get an idea of how they want their rosters to look on opening-night. Resulting in 20 players being placed on waivers.

After a long offseason, the New York Rangers are less than two weeks from returning, along with the other 31 teams in the National Hockey League. However, with that being said we will continue to see teams finalize their rosters for opening-night.
Despite the New York Rangers not making many moves, several other teams have already put the Waiver wire to use. Resulting is several former Rangers players hitting waivers.

The two former New York Rangers players are the following, Bo Groulx, Vinni Lettieri,.
The 30-year old forward, Vinni Lettieri, played for the New York Rangers during the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, but only managed to appear in 46 games while tallying 2 goal and 6 assists.
Bo Groulx, signed as a free agent with the New York Rangers, back on July 2, 2024. However, he never played a single game with the Rangers as he spent his time in the AHL with the Hartford Wolf Pack. Where he played a total of 47 games and tallied 15 goals, 22 assist, for a grand total of 37 points.
