The New York Rangers will take on the Minnesota Wild tonight at 8 PM. It'll be on home ice tonight, as the Rangers will need to earn a regulation win to get 2 points desperately needed to qualify for a wildcard spot in the playoffs.

The New York Rangers hold the 5th spot in the Metropolitan Division with a record of 31-28-6 and will take on a hot Minnesota Wild team.
The Wild had begun the NHL season as one of the league's top teams, and have since cooled down to a cool 4th place in the Central Division, which has restocked its talent pool with Brock Nelson's trade to the Avalanche.
The Rangers will have to find a weakness in the Wild's armor, who at the moment lack a healthy Kirill Kaprizov in the lineup tonight.
Another explanation of why they made a trade for Gus Nyquist, another high-flying and scoring winger who could add skill while Kaprizov recovers.

Rangers Lineup

The Rangers will look a little bit different tonight as Alexis Lafreniere will take LW2, flanking JT Miller.
While Igor Shesterkin will be the Rangers starting goalie tonight.
Juuso Parssinen and Calvin DeHaan will be extra tonight against the Wild.
While the injured list continues to grow, Arthur Kaliyev joins Adam Edstrom and Adam Fox.
