Reports confirm several teams will be interested in acquiring Rangers top defenseman this offseason

As the New York Rangers 2024-2025 season comes to a very disappointing end after being eliminated by the Carolina Hurricanes back on Saturday, it's likely that the organization will be making some massive offseason changes to their roster.
With that being said, recent reports suggest that New York Rangers will be looking to move one off their top defenseman K'Andre Miller this offseason, as his name was surrounding by trade speculation leading up to the NHL Trade Deadline.
However, according to recent reports, Miller will be someone to watch this offseason, as three unexpected teams could be looking to acquire him this offseason.
Three teams looking to acquire Rangers defenseman K'Andre Miller this offseason
San Jose Sharks
First up would be the San Jose Sharks, as they desperately need to bolster their blueline if they hope to be more competitive in the 2025-26 season. Miller would certainly fit right in with their top four as he would provide coverage on the left side.
With Miller only be 25-years old, he is still young enough for the Sharks rebuild, making him the perfect next step for the Sharks organization.
Calgary Flames
Next up, would be the Calgary Flames, as they have taken a massive step forward this season and are on the brink of making this year's playoffs, as they only trail two points behind the Blues, with two games remaining in the season.
If they fail to make it, they should certainly be looking to improve their left side of their defense this offseason, and bring in Miller would do just that as, especially if he was paired along side Mackenzie Weegar.
Minnesota Wild
Finally, the last time in the list, the Minnesota Wild. A team that could use some help on their defensive end, so they could also be a potential suitor for Miller.
If acquired, Miller would give the Wild another top-four defenseman to work with and would also be an option for both their power play and penalty kill if acquired.
