Recent reports confirm Patrick Kane tampered with Rangers potential signings
Detroit Red Wings star may have tampered with the New York Rangers signing during free agency.
Recent reports confirms that Patrick Kane had influenced Vladimir Tarasenko's decision to sign with the Detroit Red Wings instead of the New York Rangers.
Despite the two only being teammates for a brief amount of time, Patrick Kane and Vladimir Tarasenko seem to have created a strong bond. As they both played for the Rangers during the 2022-23 season.
However, both players have decided to sign with the Detroit Red Wings this summer, but according to Tom Gulitti at NHL.com, Kane and Tarasenko spoke before he made the final decision to sign with the Red Wings.
Tom Gulitti also mentioned that Tarasenko's wife, Yana, reached out to Kane's girlfriend, Amanda Grahovec.
The two veteran forwards shared how they felt about the potential of them playing on the same line together and without a doubt they are both excited.
"It would be amazing," Tarasenko said. "We played against each other for so many years, and if somebody told me at that time we would play together as a line, I would be like, 'There is no way.'"
"I think it would be a good fit," Kane said. "I know we both are natural right wingers, kind of left-handed shots playing the off side, but I think when you're playing hockey it doesn't really matter what position you're in. So one of us would have to make a move, but I think it would be a good fit."
Unfortunately both of the players times in New York was cut short after Kane signed with the Detroit Red Wings and Tarasenko signed with the Ottawa Senators, but now the two veterans are reunited.
