Chris Kreider has only known the Rangers organization as a home during his 13-year career in the NHL, but during the offseason will he have to find a new home? He was asked about the possibility by NHL Insider Mollie Walker.

The New York Rangers have begun a retool that has seen them ship out players who were considered at one point, key pieces in the lineup.
Those moves included shipping Kaapo Kakko, Jacob Trouba, Filip Chytil, and Jimmy Vesey out to new pastures.
In doing so, many have found new homes and new purposes.
For Chris Kreider though it's been an afterthought, as trade-talks have been featuring the 13-year Rangers forward.
He's set the league on fire the last three seasons, with a 20% shooting percentage and three seasons scoring 30 goals or more.
Instead of focusing on all the rumors he's deadset on trying to do his best to get the Rangers into the Stanley Cup playoffs.
At this point an elusive task, as the team hasn't done their best against the Ottawa Senators, and Columbus Blue Jackets.
Losing both games consecutively.
Kreider, all the while has failed to ignite his playmaking abilities this year, scoring only 22 points (14 goals, 8 assists) on a Rangers team that did a complete one-eighty after winning the Presidents Trophy.
The longest-tenured Ranger recently returned to the lineup after missing six games due to an upper-body injury.
We're not sure if he'll be next to be shipped out, but we'll find out in July.
