The New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins have undergone major changes recently. It involves a switching of the guard. With Dan Muse occupying the new Head Coaching gig in Pittsburgh, the New York Rangers are sending shocking messages to their rival's newest leader.
The New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins operate without irony. Which is why the latest decisions between both clubs have shocked us.
The Rangers' social media team has wished Muse the best in Pittsburgh, while the rest of us want to shove "W's" in their face the rest of their life.
Former Rangers assistant coach Dan Muse will now take the Pittsburgh Penguins into a rebuild, as Kyle Dubas has vowed to tear down the Pens until they're a winner once again.
Though we never saw Dubas capable of finishing the job in Toronto, it'll be interesting to see how Muse handles the new digs in Pittsburgh.
Muse will be the Head Coach, we'll see through the Penguins' massive downturn, as a rebuild involves sending out the Penguins' best talent in exchange for assets, prospects, and draft capital.
He hasn't won a Championship anywhere but the USHL, where he attained the title in the Junior Hockey League in 2016-2017.
So, we hope Dubas' ambitions get the better of him, as they did in Toronto.
«From his success in developing college and junior players, to his impactful work with veteran players during his time in the NHL, Dan has shown a proven ability to connect with players at all stages of their careers and help them to reach their potential.»
It truly is a different NHL we're seeing develop, as Dan Muse, Lane Lambert, and Jeff Blashill find jobs in the league as Head Coaches.
While Jay Woodcroft and Gerard Gallant languish on the sidelines.
