New York Rangers affiliate team of the American Hockey League has just announced a significant contract extension, with an unexpected defenseman.
Earlier on Thursday morning, New York Rangers Assistant General Manager and
Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager, Ryan Martin announced today that the organization has signed defenseman
Blake Hillman to a one-year contract extension.
Blake Hillman's new deal will cover the 2025-26 season, as the organization only signed him to a one-year contract extension until the end of next season.

The 29-year old defenseman has managed to tally 3 goals and 7 assist for a total of 10 points this season with the Wolf Pack, along with posting a plus/minus rating of +8 in 47 games.
Just last season the Elk River, MN native, set a career-high with 4 goals, 11 assists for a total of 15 points throughout the 2023-24 season, while also skating in a career-high 60 games.
Black Hilman's career over the last three seasons in Hartford, see him tallying a total of 30 points (7G, 23A), while making 136 appearances during that time.
