The New York Rangers will take on the Florida Panthers, in a match-up not seen since Wayne Gretzky's last season in New York.

The teams last met in 1997, in which the Rangers handily defeated the green expansion team, 4 games to 1.

This year, however, with Bill Zito, Paul Maurice, Aleksander Barkov, and a hot Sergei Bobrovsky the Rangers need to be all-in.
So, Vince Mercogliano has reported projected lineups for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals tomorrow.
On the 1st line, Mika Zibanejad will center, Chris Kreider and Jack Roslovic. While Vinnie Troecheck will keep centering Artemi Panarin and Alexis Lafreniere, on the 2nd.
Your bottom six will likely consist of Alexander Wennberg, centering Kaapo Kakko, with Filip Chytil sounding like a game-time decision on your 3rd line.
While your 4th line, backchecking unit consists of Barclay Goodrow, centering Will Cuylle and Jimmy Veser.
Defensive Pairs:
Zac Jones will be paired with Adam Fox, while Jacob Trouba remains paired with K'Andre Miller, in typical fashion.
While you're bottom pairing is Erik Gustafson and Brandon Schneider.
No report on the starting goalie as of yet.
