New York Rangers 22-year old enforcer and fan favourite Matt Rempe is trending once again as he sparks controversy amongst fans with recent actions towards Washington Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin.
Wednesday night the New York Rangers faced off against the Metropolitan division leaders, the Washington Capitals and without a doubt the heated rivalry between the two teams continued.
Unfortunately for the New York Rangers, they fell short in overtime as Capitals winger
Tom Wilson netted the game winning goal which gave the Capitals a 3-2 victory.
Throughout the night we seen plenty of action from both sides as two brawls broke out during the second period, along with a heated moment between Matt Rempe and Tom Wilson.
