Major update surfaces from the New York Rangers practice of Friday afternoon, regarding Matt Rempe and his upper-body injury.
New York Rangers enforcer Matt Rempe recently suffered an unfortunate upper-body injury and was listed as week-to-week.
Matt Rempe is dealing with an upper-body injury, with the #NYR labeling him "week-to-week."

Matt Rempe's injury most likely comes from the Rangers when they faced off against the LA Kings and took a 3-1 loss.
During that game, Matt Rempe attempted to get his team fired up by dropping the gloves with Tanner Jeannot, but ended up doing the opposite after he caught an edge and tumbled backwards onto the ice.

However, on Friday the New York Rangers took to the ice for their practice and Matt Rempe is out there in a regular white jersey, indicating that he's back to full contact. Along with throwing some hits at J.T. Miller.
Matt Rempe just threw some hits on J.T. Miller during this past drill. He's in a normal jersey, so he could be getting pretty close. Not shying away from contact.
Now this doesn't mean Rempe will return anytime soon but, the New York Rangers only have 8 games left and seeing him back in the ice is huge positive for the team.
As the New York Rangers are expected to take on the New Jersey Devils on Saturday afternoon, having Matt Rempe return to the lineup just makes sense considering how heated the rivalry is between these two teams.
However, head coach Peter Laviolette won't give any confirmation on if Rempe will return to the lineup.
