J.T. Miller's former teammate and linemate Brock Boeser from the Vancouver Canucks organization has recently opened up the trade that sent Miller to the New York Rangers.

Back in January, there was a ton of reports that indicated that there was rift between J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson, which ultimately led to the Canucks organization having to trade one of them, and luckily it was Miller to the New York Rangers.
This trade apparently left a ton of questions for the Vancouver Canucks organization, one of those questions being, where will they place Brock Boeser in the lineup considering he played alongside Miller for many years.

When speaking with reporters recently, Brock Boeser shared how he felt about the whole situation, especially how he will try to adapt to playing without J.T. Miller.
According to Noah Strang of the Daily Hive, things have been completely different and he had been in an adjustment period for himself, along with adding that he believes he's got to step up and take on Miller's role, by getting to the net and the dirty areas more, something Miller used to do for the Canucks.
"It's definitely a lot different. When you play with a guy for two years, and a guy to that degree of how good he is, and how good of a passer he is and how he creates space, it's definitely an adjustment," Boeser said.

He added, "I feel like I'm trying to understand that it's going to be different, and I've got to play a little different with other guys. I think I can definitely shoot the puck more and get around the net I think I've got to get net front and find those greasy rebounds."

Boeser, 28, has found himself with different linemates on numerous occasions over the last six weeks including Elias Pettersson against Montreal on Tuesday and Filip Chytil during Vancouver's shootout win in Calgary last night.
The 28-year old forward has quite the work cut out for him as he try's to fill the void J.T. Miller left. As for Miller he has been on fire since joining the New York Rangers.
