The Rangers Season May Have Been Saved By This One Person
The Rangers exploded in the third period last night, to win 5-2 over the Anaheim Ducks after trailing 2-0.
Before tonight, the last time the Rangers won by three or more goals after trailing by multiple goals was March 12, 2022 at Dallas and the last time the club scored five unanswered goals after trailing by two or more goals was Jan. 22, 2022 against Arizona.
Will Cuylle was the spark that ignited the comeback in the third period.
The rookie tipped a long shot from Jacob Trouba past Ducks goalie Lukas Dostal to knot the score at 2-2 with 9:50 remaining.
Will Cuylle is having a strong rookie campaign!
His energy and imposing will on the opposing team is contagious!
Let's hope this is the spark that leads to the Rangers getting on a hot streak now!
