Rangers Star Invites Adversity As It Will Improve Team Long Term
The Rangers are 1-3-1 in their last five games after the 5-2 loss yesterday to the St. Louis Blues.
They recorded their first three game winless streak of the season in game 40 tonight.
Since 1972, they only got through 40 games four times without such a streak prior to tonight.
Jacob Trouba speaks on the Rangers' three-game losing streak to the media. Take a listen:
"You learn a little bit about your teammates, the group, the kind of team we are when we go through things like this. Not that it's a good thing, but you want to deal with some adversity and figure out who we are"
The good thing is it's game 40 of an 82 game season.
What matters is the playoffs in April, and if they have to learn through adversity now to prepare for April, I'm all for it.
