Kakko Reveals The Hard Truth Behind Dealing With His Injury
For the first time in 10 days, the Rangers have won a hockey game. They beat the Washington Capitals 2-1 and snap their four game losing streak. It was also significant because it was the return Kaapo Kakko from injury.
The Rangers have struggled in his absence. They're 11-9-1 without him playing and allow 3.29 goals per game.
Rangers are now 16-4-1 with Kaapo Kakko in the lineup and allow only 2.38 goals per game. His presence today was needed. Here is Kakko on making his way back to the ice from injury:
"A lot of recovery. Working out by myself is never fun, but it's good to be back"
It's good to have him back!
