NHL Makes Major Punishment To Rangers Captain Official
When it rains, it pours. Jacob Trouba has been suspended for two games for elbowing Vegas' Pavel Dorofeyev in the 5-2 loss last night.
Trouba will miss the game tonight against Ottawa and on Feb. 5 against Colorado.
Here is a better angle of the hit, with commentary from the Department of Player Safety.
Connor Mackey was called up for insurance earlier this afternoon. Expect Zac Jones to play tonight.
We are still awaiting the injury status of Ryan Lindgren.
We will update as more information becomes available.
